LINDLEY, Margaret Pithoud - L-Obituaries

Mrs. Margaret Pithoud Lindley, 70, wife of Herbert Lindley and an aunt of Mayor CP Madden of Danville died Sunday evening at 7 o'clock at her home in Kingman, Ind following a long illness from complications. Funeral services will be held from the late home Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock.  Burial will be in Kingman cemetery.

Mrs. Lindley was born in Fountain County, Indiana and all of her life was spent in or near Kingman. Her parents were among the earliest settlers in the community in which she was born and reared. Aunt Margaret as the aged woman was known in the neighborhood in which she spent her life had no children of her own but during her life had reared three orphans. Three sisters and a brother survive her. They are Mrs. Charles Ward, Kingman; Mrs. Charles Pearson, Hartford City; Mrs. James Alexander, Yeddo and Lemuel Pithoud, Kingman. – kbz
