LINDLEY, Gilbert Austin - L-Obituaries

Gilbert LINDLEY, 21 son of Fred & Icy Lindley of Cates died at Rockville tuberculosis sanitorium at 10:30 Monday night. He had been an employee of Attica Ledger Tribune until his health failed last January. He was born at Cates and attended grade school there. He graduated from Kingman HS in 1934. The deceased was a member of Cates United Brethren Church. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Lindley; 3 sisters, Wretha Lindley of Mellott; Mrs. Reba McKeighn of Chicago and Faye Lindley at home; two brothers, Bernard and Nedfred ? Lindley of Cates; and his grandfather, Elwood Lindley. One sister, Grace preceded him in death 4 months ago. Funeral was held from Cates United Brethren Church 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon with Rev. Shrigley in charge. Burial in Harveysburg Cemetery.
