LINDAMOOD, Harris

Harris Lindamood, owner of Lindy's Cleaners in Veedersburg, was found dead of carbon monoxide poisoning in his automobile late Wednesday afternoon.  Discovered by Herb Allen and Dick Rusk, who were looking for him since he had been considered missing Wednesday morning, his car was parked beside the Tangier Road in Parke County.
Time of death was estimated as around 2:30 p.m., CDT, Tuesday. . Rusk and Allen acted on a tip from G. I. Parrish, who had seen Lindamood on Highway 41 early yesterday afternoon.
Born Dec. 2, 1911, Lindamood was 52.  Preceding him in death were his wife, Margaret Roberts Lindamood, who passed a way in 1958, and a married son, Charles, who died in Nov. 1962.
Harris Lindamood is survived by his stepmother, Mrs. Frieda Lindamood, of Attica, a son, Dennis, who is a junior at  Veedersburg High School and a granddaughter by his late elder son.
He has willed that his body be shipped to the Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis, where it may be used to further the learning of aspiring doctors.  At his request, no funeral services are to be scheduled.
