Floyd E. Lindamood, 80, a retired employee of the Harrison Steel Plant in Attica, and the father of Harris Lindamood, of Veedersburg, died Tuesday night at the Home Hospital in Lafayette, after being ill for the past three weeks.
Born April 23, 1881, in Boone County, he was the son of George and Florence Points Lindamood. He was married in 1949 at Fowler to Frieda Mather, who survives.
He previously had been married twice and both wives preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Union Christian Church and the Loyal Order of Moose.
Other survivors are a step daughter, Mrs. Alton Richey of Attica; a brother, Walter of Indianapolis; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by three sisters.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Roemer Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Eugene Rapson will officiate, with burial in Riverside Cemetery. - jz
