-Memorial services for Charles Lindamood were held Thursday afternoon at the Veedersburg EUB Church with Rev. J. Samuel Pritchard conducting. Burial in Beulah Cemetery. Pallbearers were Dallas McDonald; Gerald Byers; William Wildman; Joseph Riley; Dale Byers and David Rusk. Mrs. Ruth Pritchard presided at the organ playing as a request selection "My Task." Fishero Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He died in Kokomo, Howard County, Indiana on the 26th day of November in 1962 - the funeral home record says buried Rob Roy

Charles Lindamood, 26, died Monday evening , at 11:30 at the Howard County Hospital in Kokomo, after a short illness. Charles and his family had just recently moved to Kokomo where he had accepted a position as a designer of homes for the Armstrong Landon Company. He had become a well recognized designer and draftsman although he had struggled agaist odds for good health since a severe attack of polio in September 1949 when he was 13 years old.
After graduation from Veedersburg High School he attended Indiana Central College for a year and then graduated from the International Correspondence School as a Mechanical Draftsman. He worked with the Snyder Engineering Company in Hillsboro and then with the John Walters architectural firm in Crawfordsville before accepting his latest position.
He was born in Veedersburg September 1, 1936, the son of Harris and Margaret Roberts Lindamood. He was married to Nellie McDonald.
Surviving is the wife, Nellie, a daughter, Paula Renee, age 1, the father, and a brother, Dennis, both of Veedersburg. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1958.
Fureral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Veedersburg E. U. B. .Church, where he was a member, with the Rev. J. Samuel Pritchard officiating. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery with the Fishero Funeral Home in charge of the services. - jz
