John R. Limauge, 77, Covington, died 3:45 a.m. Tuesday in Danville Care

Nursing Home.

Mr. Limauge managed shoe stores for many years and was a member of

Orchard Hills Church of Christ, Covington.

He was born May 6, 1926, at Danville, Ill., to Hector and Velma Camp

Limauge. He married Sarah Elizabeth Brown on Oct. 23, 1949. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Dennis, Covington, and Greg, Ledyard,

Conn.; two daughters, Carol Keehner, Fredericksburg, Va., and Carla

Saavedra, Schaumburg, Ill.; a sister, Alice Limauge, Danville, Ill.;

five grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; 11 step-great-grandchildren;

and four step-great-great-grandchildren.

Three brothers and a sister are deceased.

Funeral services are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Friday in Shelby Funeral Home,

622 Third St., Covington, with Jason Carter officiating. Burial will be

in Mount Hope Cemetery, Covington. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday in

the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, with envelopes

available at the funeral home, or to the medical research foundation of

the donor's choice.
