COVINGTON -- Teddy Joe Lilley, 41, of Rt. 1, Covington, died Monday morning in Veterans' Hospital at Danville, Ill., where he had been a patient since Aug. 10. Mr. Lilley was a cutter at Dynacor here. He served with the U.S. Air Force in 1953-58 and was a member of Wabash Valley Gun Collectors Club. He was born May 13, 1934, in Crockett County, Tenn., a son of Dalton A. and Ruth I. Garrett. He was married Nov. 23, 1960, to Beverly June Cline. Surviving are the widow; his parents of Rt. 1, Perrysville; a brother, Tom D. of Rt. 5, Danville; a sister, Mrs. Larry (Lynda) Reed of Rt. 1, Covington; two nephews; and two nieces. The funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home with the Rev. Grover Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Teddy Joe Lilley, 41, died Sept. 2, at 6:30 a.m. at the Veterans Hospital in Danville, Ill. where he had been a patient since August 2.
He was born on May 12, 1934 in Crocket Co., Tenn., the son of Dalton A. Lilley and Ruth I. Garrett. He was married to Beverly June Cline on November 23, 1960. She survives.
He was a resident of Covington since 1963, had formerly lived in Danville, Ill., and was employed at Dyna Cor. He was an Air Force veteran, having served from 1953 to 1958. He was a member of the Wabash Valley Gun Collectors. Surviving with his wife are the parents of Rt. 1, Perrysville; one brother, Tom D. Lilley of Rt. 3, Danville; one sister, Mrs. Larry (Lynday) Reed of Covington; and two nephews and two nieces. Friends will be received at the Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington at 2 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. with the Rev. Grover Williams officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery at Covington.=s
