KINGMAN — Guy Lightle, a retired farmer, died Wednesday at his home here. He was 84. Mr. Lightle was a member of the Yeddo Baptist Church. He was a life resident of Fountain County, born May 15, 1883 near Veedersburg to Dayton and Ethie May (Drollinger) Lightle. He was married Jan. 13, 1907, to Edna Harvey, who preceded him in death on Feb. 20, 1954. Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth at home; a sister, Mrs. Myrtie Holycross of Veedersburg; a half-sister, Mrs. Opal Norris of Chicago Heights, Ill., and seven half-brothers, Glenn Lightle of Lisle, Ill., Clyde Lightle of Veedersburg, Mort Lightle of Kingman and Harry, Kelso, Ray and Arnet Lightle, all of Indianapolis. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Yeddo Church with Rev. Lowell Barnard officiating. Interment will be in Centennial Cemetery. Friends may call at Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today. The family requests donations to the Yeddo Baptist Church in lieu of flowers. --typed by Walt W

KINGMAN, Ind. (CNS)— Guy Ligtle, 84, a life resident of Fountain County, died Wednesday (Feb. 28, 1968). He was born May 15, 1883, the son of Dayton and Ethie May Drollinger Ligtle. He was married Jan. 13, 1907 to Edna Harvey, who preceded him in death Feb. 20, 1964. Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtie Holycross of Veedersburg and Mrs. Opal Norris of Chicago Heights, Ill.; seven half brothers, Glen Arnet of Lisle, Ill., Harry, Kelso, and Ray Arnet, all of Indianapolis, Clyde, Veedersburg, and Mort of Kingman. A brother also preceded him. A retired farmer, he was a member of the Yeddo Baptist Church. The body is at Woodrow Funeral home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Yeddo Baptist Church where the body will be taken an hour before services. The Rev. Lowell Barnard will officiate. Friends will be received at the funeral home Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Burial will be in Centennial Cemetery.
