LIGHTLE, Eva Robbins

Veedersburg - Mrs. Eva Lightle, 82, a resident of Veedersburg most of her life, died Monday at 2 a.m. in Allen Nursing Home, Attica where she had been a patient since May. She was born April 11, 1879 near Alamo. Her parents were Mr. and Mrs. Eli Robbins. She was first married to Ben Livengood and after his death, married Granville Lightle, who also preceded her in death. She was a member of the Church of God at Sterling. Survivors include a son, Claude Livengood of Attica; a brother, Elsworth Robbins of Veedersburg; nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home here. Rev. Jack Miller will officiate. Burial in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. Friends may call at the funeral home.

Mrs. Eva Lightle, 82, a resident of the Veedersburg community most of her life, died at 2 a.m. Monday, Aug. 21, 1961 at the Allen Nursing Home in Attica where she had been a patient since May.
Born April 11, 1879, near Alamo, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Robbins.  She was married to Ben Livengood, who preceded her in death.  She was later married to Granville Lightle, who also preceded her in death.  She was a member of the Sterling Church of God.
Survivors include a son, Claude Livengood of Attica; a brother, Elsworth of Veedersburg, and nine grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by three sons.
Funeral services were conducted at the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Jack Miller officiating.  Burial was in Rose Hill, Hillsboro. - jz
