Kenneth Russell “Ken”
Lewsader, 41, of Covington, died Sunday, April 9, 2000 at 12:27 a.m. in Clarion
Medical Hospital, Indianapolis. Born on March 27, 1959 in Danville, Illinois,
he was the son of William Russell and Joyce (Moorhous) Lewsader. His marriage
was to Jamie Rankin on August 9, 1980 in Covington. She survives. Mr. Lewsader
graduated from Covington High School in 1978. He was a farmer all of his life
and a Pioneer Seed Dealer for years with his father. He enjoyed hunting and
fishing. He was a member of NRA and North American Hunting Association. Also
surviving, are: a son, Justin Lewsader of Covington; his father and
step-mother, William Russell and Geneva Lewsader of Covington; his mother and
stepfather, Merle and Joyce Tabor of Naples, Fla.; a brother, Curtis (Ann)
Lewsader of Covington; and a sister, Lynn (Geoff) Wesoloski of Naples, Fla. He
was preceded in death by his grandparents. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m.
Thursday, April 13, 2000 at Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Paul Ziebart
officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday at
the funeral home. – jlr
