LEWSADER, Charles W. - L-Obituaries

Charles W. Lewsader of Perrysville, age 63, died Tuesday morning, June 15, at his home. He was born at Perrysville, March 22, 1919, the son of Elmer and Lillie Holycross Lewsader. July 14, 1938, he married Betty Jane Anderson, who survives. Lewsader was a member of Perrysville United Methodist Church and Volunteer Fire department. He was employed with Penry Furniture Company in Danville, Illinois, from 1947 to 1974 and since had been self-employed as a custom carpet layer.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Pat Wiseley of Carmel; two sons, Charles E. of Danville and Richard W. of Perrysville; a foster son, Alan Ray Burks of Indianapolis; and seven grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held this afternoon (Thursday) at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Rev. Richard Pippin and Rev. Bill Moore officiating. Burial was in Lower Mound Cemetery.- thanks to S
