Funeral services for Mrs. Marcia May Lewis, age 84, a resident of Kingman for the past six years, who died Friday, May 6, at her home, were held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. She had been ill three years and in serious condition four months. Mrs. Lewis was born May 1, 1882, near Tangier in Parke County, the daughter of Milton and Margaret Armstrong Swaim. She was married Aug. 21, 1900, to James Brant Lewis, who died Sept. 13, 1953. She was a member of the EUB Church and was a life resident of Fountain and Parke counties. Survivors include: three daughters, Mrs. Ina Heath of Kingman, Mrs. Ruby Ephlin of Tangier and Mrs. Olevia Strain of Tilton, Ill.; one son, Brantly of Kingman Rt. 2; one brother, Irve Swaim of Tangier; five grandchildren; one step-grandson and six great-grandchildren. --typed by Walt W
