Attica—Leona Emma Lewis, 74, 111 Edgewood Drive, Attica, died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 1989 in Indiana University Medical Center, Indianapolis.
  She was born April 15, 1914 in Omaha, Neb., the daughter of Louis Elmer and Bertha Anker Garbison. She formerly lived in Wolcott and Fowler and was educated in Wolcott. She had lived in Attica since 1961. She was married Dec. 24, 1957 in Mechanicsburg, to Oliver Kenneth Lewis, who preceded her in death Sept. 23, 1985.
  She formerly owned the Attica Café for 10 years.
  She was a former member of Fowler United Methodist Church.
  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Velma Sorenson, Attica; two stepsons, Grant Craig Lewis, Fort Smith, Ark., and Terry W. Lewis, Mokena, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. Bernice Bedore, Jackson, Mich.; Mrs. Albert (Mary) Dodson and Mrs. Arthur (Margaret) Fryman, both of Hanna, and Mrs. Lucille Eldridge, Henry, Ill.; two brothers, Joseph Garbison, Valparaiso, and Bernard Garbison, Wanatah; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Friends may call from 5-9 p.m. today (Friday) at Maus Funeral Home, Attica. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Maus Chapel with the Rev. Charles B. Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Attica. -s
