LEWIS, Chloris Bond Orahood - L-Obituaries

Chloris A. Lewis, 68, Rt 3, Kingman died at 11:19 a.m. Monday Oct 13, at Vermillion County Hospital in Clinton. She was born July 24, 1918 in Parke County, the daughter of Adam Edward and Chloe Pratt Bond. She married Stanley Orahood, who died in February of 1952 (sic - died 2 Feb 1954). On July 12, 1967, she married Albert Earl Lewis of Paris, Ill, who survives. She was a former employee of Radio Materials Corporation of Attica. Surviving besides her husband are 3 brothers, Marvin Bond, Orlando FL; Donald Bond, Kingman and Russell Bond, Lafayette. She was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m Thursday at DeVerter Brothers Funeral Home, Cayuga, with the Rev. Leon C. Korb officiating. Burial was in Miller Cemetery, Lodi.
