COVINGTON - Mrs. Marie A. Lewin, 68, a resident of Covington since 1960, died Monday at 12:45 p.m. at her residence, 525 Evans St. A former resident of Chicago, Mrs. Lewin was a member of First Assembly of God Church. She was born Aug. 2, 1902, in Perrysville to James and Hattie Lopp Toby. She married Eugene H. Lewin on June 28, 1921. He died Feb. 9, 1962. Surviving are two sons Robert of Forest Park, Ill., and Edwin of Covington; three daughters, Miss Jean Lewin of Franklin Park, Ill., Mrs. Norma Hanson of Frankfort and Mrs. Barbara June Hall of Elmhurst, Ill; three sisters, Mrs. Bertha. Kelly of West Lebanon, Mrs. Mildred Ottinger of Cayuga and Mrs. Inez Keller of Augusta, Ark.; 22 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George E. Toby, who died in 1965. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home. Rev. Edgar Allen will officiate. Burial will be in Hicks Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Tuesday and after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday. - jlr
