THREE GREAT ladies and wonderful genealogists saved many old obituaries and put them into a binder – they let me use them for the GenWeb page – thanks so much to Fauniel Hershberger; Claudine Yerkes and Betty Dotson (my adopted 2nd mom – loved that lady) – these were mostly mid 1940s deaths but no dates or newspapers are noted.
Mrs. Elizabeth Lentz, a former resident of Fountain County died Sunday Feb 4 in Indianapolis and funeral services were conducted Thursday. Mrs. Lentz was reared at Covington and after her marriage lived in Hillsboro several years where her husband was employed as operator for the Big Four Railroad. They moved to Indianapolis about 20 years ago where Mr. Lentz died a few years ago. A son, Henry J. Lentz, Jr lives in Indianapolis.
