Rowena Lucille Lee, 84, died Thursday Sept 11 at Fircrest Convalescent Hospital, Sebastopol, Calif. She was born Nov 16, 1901, in Liberty Twp, Parke County, daughter of Lloyd and Ethel Atcheson Madden. She married Kenneth Lee of Wickliffe, Ky on May 5, 1929, who preceded her in death. She received her AB Degree from Butler University in 1924 and taught school in Tangier and HIllsboro and Wickliffe. Surviving are a daughter, Mary Caroline Olson, Occidental, California and three sisters, Dorothy Luther, Waveland; Helen Madden and Martha Mohr, Pacific Palisades, California. Burial was in Wickliffe Cemetery on Sept 18 with Rev. Calvin Clark officiating.
