LEE, Ernest D.

Danville, Ill.—Ernest D. Lee, 63, Richmond, Ind., died at 10:15 p.m. Friday, April 14, 1989, at Reid Memorial Hospital, Richmond, after a lengthy illness.
  He was born Dec. 10, 1925 in Danville, the son of Lawrence and Nora Wamsher Lee. He was married Feb. 22, 1947 in Danville to Norma C. Braun, who survives.
  He worked for Jacobs Inc., Danville, and American Stores in Ponca, Okla., retiring in 1986. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.
  He was a member of Central United Methodist Church, American Legion Post 315 VFW Post 1108, all of Richmond, and associate member of Marine Corps League, Whitewater Valley Detachment.
  Surviving besides his wife are two sons, Michael D., Winchester, and Richard D., Richmond; two granddaughters; four brothers, Robert, Chicago, and Jack, Hershall and David, all of Danville; four sisters, Ruby Cripe, Hazel Lamb and Wilma Nipper, all of Danville, and Fannie Buck, Attica, and several nieces and nephews.
  Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at Barrick & Son Guardian Chapel. Funeral services will be there at 10 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Michael N. Malone of Christ Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Allhands Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 210. -s
