VEEDERSBURG — Lloyd Leberer, 83, of 600 N. Hill, Veedersburg, died at 4:30 a.m. Friday at Community Hospital in Williamsport. He had been a patient three days. Born March 13, 1888, in Cory, he was the son of George and Ida Harr Leberer. He was married Sept. 16, 1916, at Terre Haute to Ethel Van Hess, who survives. Mr. Leberer was a retired farmer and resided on Brazil Route 2 before moving to Veedersburg eight years ago. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. George (Evelyn) Black of Veedersburg Rt. 2; two sisters, Mrs. Estel (Herberta) Sutton of Greencastle and Mrs. Arthur (Mildred) White of Brazil; and two grandchildren, Barbara and David Black. Services were 2 p.m. Sunday at the Parham Funeral Home. The Rev. Vernon Souder officiated. Burial was in Osborne Prairie Cemetery. --waw
