LEATH, Jenny Westring - L-Obituaries

Mrs. Jennie Marie Leath, 64, of Attica Route 2, died Saturday (Nov. 1, 1969) at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette, where she had been a patient the past 13 days. Born Dec. 20, 1904 in Warren County, she was the daughter of Axtel and Annie Peterson Westring. She was married in 1951 to Wilbur Leath who survives. A 1923 graduate of Attica High School, Mrs. Leath had attended Indiana Business College in Indianapolis, Bethel Church north of Attica and was a member of Bethel Community Circle and Order of Eastern Star 125 of Attica. She had been employed by the Indiana Lumberman's Insurance Co. Always interested in genealogy, she was a member of Fountain, Warren, Tippecanoe and state historical societies. Surviving besides her husband are a brother, Harry Westring of Lafayette and a nephew, Tom Westring of New York City, N. Y. Services Tuesday at Roemer Funeral Chapel in Attica with the Rev.
