LEAK, Zoe Miller - L-Obituaries

ATTICA — Mrs. Zoe Delphine Leak, age 76, of Battle Ground, died at 6:50 a.m. Thursday, April 23, at the Community Hospital in Williamsport. She had been in failing health five months and a patient there one month. Mrs. Leak was born Aug. 7, 1893, at West Lebanon, the daughter of Alec and Amanda Miller. She had resided in Warren and Fountain counties in her early life and moved to Montana following her marriage. They homesteaded there for a period of time before returning to Indiana. She was married June 25, 1917, in Warren County to Marion Joseph Leak, who died in 1945. He had been a farmer. She was a member of the Battle Ground United Methodist Church. Surviving are: three sons, William of Attica, Ronald of Parma, Ohio and Raymond Keener of Cleveland, Ohio; two daughters, Mrs. Marie Foster of Battle Ground and Mrs. Evelyn Swift of Attica; one sister, Mrs. Louie Miller of New Jersey; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the DeSutter Funeral Home here. Burial was in Locust Grove Cemetery in Warren County. --waw
