VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) --Services were at 10 a.m. today at the Baptist Church in Bedford for Billy D. Leach, 41, a native of Veedersburg. Burial was in Bedford. Mr. Leach died Thursday (Dec. 19, 1968) at the Robert Long Hospital in Indianapolis. He was being treated for burns sustained in an explosion Wednesday at the Crane Naval Depot near Shoals, Ind. The plant supplies high intensitive flares and ammunition for the Vietnam War. He had been injured in a similar accident two years ago. Born in Veedersburg, he was the son of Gould and Aveda Lewsader Leach. He spent his early life in Veedersburg and has resided in Bedford for the past several years. Survivors include his widow, Evelyn; two daughters, two sons, a sister, two brothers and his parents. --typed by Walt W
