LAWSON, Phoebe Jane Barker - L-Obituaries

Mrs. Henry Lawson, 78, former resident of Kingman died Wed. at her home in Lafayette. Death was attributed to a complication of diseases. Mrs. [Phoebe Jane Barker] Lawson was born April 4, 1863 in Parke County, the daughter of Bryant and Anna Sowers Barker. Survivors in addition to her husband, Henry are five children: Manford, John, Mrs. Amanda Swanson and Mrs. Emma Mitchell all of Lafayette and Joe Lawson of Canada and one brother, John Barker of Cates. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 o'clock Saturday a.m. from the Centennial Church near here in charge of Rev. Cornelius Airhart. Burial will be made in Centennial Cemetery. dated 6 March 1942 from Mrs. Grover Dowden's scrapbook which her grandson Max Bond owned in March 1981
