LAWSON, Manford - L-Obituaries

A former resident of Covington passed away January 28th. I am speaking of Mr. Manford Lawson, who was a close neighbor for many years. He and his wife, Anna, moved to Wolcott, Indiana in 1965. Mr. and Mrs. Max Layton, their son John and Mrs. Orban Dobbs made a trip to Wolcott to see the family. Mrs. Dobbs had been their closest neighbor for years. Mr. Lawson was 94 years old. The couple has been blessed with twenty-four grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren. They were married in 1903. Anna Lawson will remain in Wolcott. Mr. Lawson has been laid away in the Meadow Lake Cemetery in Wolcott.
