Died at her residence in Covington on the afternoon of the 28th inst, Mrs. Lydia Lawson consort of Mr. C. Lawson of a brief attack of congestive fever. The deceased was a paragon of the sex; admiable in all her relations. She lived to rear a numerous family who now mourn with great grief their irreparable loss – numerous sympathizing friends crowd the house of mourning to drop a tear o’er the corpse and to commiserate deeply with the bereaved husband, daughters and son in their affliction – Heaven to her is the exchange. - kbz
