Joseph Thomas "Tommy" Lawson, 84, retired farmer of Pomona died at 11 a.m. today (March 67, 1952) in Ransom Mem. hospital of heart and kidney complications. He had been in the hospital about 10 days. Mr. and Mrs. Lawson returned two weeks ago from a six months visit in California. He was b Sept 19, 1867 in Indiana coming to Ks at the age of 24. His membership was in the Christian Church at Centropolis. He was a well known fiddler, having played at many meetings in Franklin County and over the Eastern part of Ks. He was the last member of his family. Survivors are the widow, etc.
