LAWSON, Irvin Cecil - L-Obituaries

Covington --Services were Monday at Merrysville, Calif., for Irvin Lawson, 78, of Merrysville, a former area resident, who died Thursday (Jan. 27 1972.) Born July 17 1894, in Parke County, he was the son of Davis and Ida Haga Lawson Mrs. Lawson had been a resident of Merrysville approximately five years. He formerly resided north of Covington where he was a farmer. He also had reside in Danville, Ill., where he was employed at Hyster Co. Survivors include three sons, Irvin Jr., Harold and Jack, all in California; a daughter, Mrs. Kathryn Tallman in California; a brother, Ivan lawson of Perrysville; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Allen of Covington and Mrs. Mary Abernathy of Danville; and several nieces and nephews.
