LaTOURETTE, Catherine Cooper - L-Obituaries

Mrs. Catherine LaTOURETTE 89 widow of late Capt. Schuyler LaTouette, died at the home of her son, County Treasurer Fred C. LaTourette, on 3rd St, Covington Friday afternoon from infirmities of age. Mrs. LaTourette was born in Ohio July 4, 1841, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Cooper, coming to Fountain Co. with her parents when a child, and being the last of a large family. She was the wife of Capt. Schuyler LaTourette, prominent Ft. Co. resident who died at the age of 90 and is survived by one son, Fred and 3 grandchildren. She had lived the greater portion of her life on the farm south of Covington, coming to the city with her son when he assumed the duties of his office. Until recently she had been quite well for her years, but began to fall some weeks ago and gradually became weaker until the end.
