LARGENT, Nellie Youngblood

Mrs. Nellie Youngblood Largent, 83, died at 10:20 Wednesday morning in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Danville, where she had been admitted Sunday morning. She had fallen Sunday night and suffered a broken should but was expected to remain there only a few days. Mrs. Largent was the daughter of Richard and Malcina Baxter Isley born in Fountain County south of Veedersburg on oct 2, 1874. She was the last of 3 children, two brothers having preceded her in death.  She was married to Charles  Youngblood who passed away on April 13, 1928. She later married Samuel Largent who also preceded her in death.  She is survived by 8 children, Floyd Youngblood of Veedersburg; Lyle Ramsey of Covington; Dorothy Snyder, Veedersburg; Frank Youngblood, Covington; Mary Edwards, Silver Springs, Maryland; Iris Howard, Veedersburg; Ernest Youngblood, Washington DC; and Ester Fishero, Veedersburg; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  One child preceded her in death.  Mrs. Largent was a member of the Veedersburg Christian Church where services will be held at 2:30 today (Friday) with Rev. George Mitchell officiating. The body will remain at the Fishero Funeral Home until one hour before the service when it will be taken to the church.  Burial will be in Bonebrake Cemetery.
