COVINGTON, Ind. — Mrs. Goldie V. Lape, 65, of Attica, Ind., Route 4, died at 9:25 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 16, 1967) in St. Elizabeth Hospital. She had been a patient since Dec. 4. She was born Nov. 10, 1902, in Newport, Ind., daughter of Albert and Florence Sykes Lamar. She was a resident of Hammond, Ind., 25 years, and the past four, on Attica rural route. In 1927 she was married to William E. Lape. He is a retired employe of the Jones-Laughlin Steel Co. in Indiana. Survivors besides the husband include a daughter, Mrs. Birtie M. Hanover, Danville; three grandchildren; a brother, John Lamar, Hammond, and a sister, Rachel. Two sisters and a brother preceded her in death. The body is at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington where services will be at 2 p.m. (EST) Tuesday. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park north of Danville. Lape, 65, of Attica Route 4, who died Saturday night in St. Elizabeth Hospital, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. The Rev. James Taylor of Danville will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, Danville. Friends will be received at the funeral home this afternoon and tonight.
