LANUM, Cheryl Mitchell - L-Obituaries

Lafayette—Cheryl L. Mitchell Lanum, 32, 1014 W. County Road 275 S., Lafayette, died at 3 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, 1989, in Home Hospital, following an illness of six months.

  She was born Oct. 1, 1956, in Lafayette, and was a lifelong resident of Lafayette. She was married Oct. 9, 1981 in Romney to Thomas A. Lanum, who survives.

  She was a member of Jackson Heights United Methodist Church and Eagles Lodge Auxiliary 2596 of Attica.

  Surviving besides her husband are a son, James Michael, at home; her parents Earl and Beverlie Schultz Mitchell, Lafayette; two sisters, Mrs. Chris (Cindy) Brown, Hillsboro, and Mrs. Tony (Roxanne) Misner, West Lafayette; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T. Richard Schultz, Attica, and her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John P. Mitchell, West Lafayette.

  Funeral services were at 11:30 a.m. Monday in Hippensteel Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Virginia Nead officiating. Burial was in Tippecanoe Memory Gardens. – thanks to S
