LANKTON, Dorothy Atkinson

  Mrs. Dorothy Lankton, 67, a sister of a Kingman resident, died Friday morning, June 22, 1979, at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, Mich.
  She was born in Indiana and was a resident of Romulus, Mich.
  Born July 9, 1911, she was a daughter of Milton E. and Lula Mae Thompson Atkinson. She had worked in a variety of jobs, her latest as a hostess at a Jackson restaurant.
  Her husband, Lawrence A. Lankton, died Sept. 5, 1960.
  Survivors include a son, Larry D. Lankton of Washington, D. C.; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Lynn Lewis of Jackson; and her sister, Mrs. Sybil Myers of Kingman.
  Services were held Monday at the Wetherby Funeral Home, 402 Wildwood Ave., Jackson, Mich., with the Rev. William J. Torrey officiating. Burial was in Hillcrest Cemetery at Jackson. – thanks to S
