LANG, Sylvia - L-Obituaries

Veedersburg—Miss Sylvia A. Lang, 83, of 60 Gilbert, Terre Haute, a former Veedersburg resident, died at 8:40 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 1974 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute.

  Born Feb. 12, 1891, she was the daughter of Charles and Emma Stone Lang.

  She was former owner of A1-Inns at Terre Haute

  Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Maude Coffing Hilbert of Veedersburg, Mrs. Goldie Whitaker of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Mrs. Letha Thomas of Michigan City; and several nieces and nephews.

  She was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

  Services were at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Parham Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bud Stidham officiating. Burial was in Osborne Prairie Cemetery.-s
