VEEDERSBURG—Mrs. Stella A. Lang, 68, a resident of Veedersburg, died Thursday near Covington after an illness of several years. Born Feb. 14, 1897, in Kansas, she was a daughter of John and Martha Hallowell Shoup. She married Clyde Lang Sept. 30, 1916. He died in 1956. Mrs. Lang was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lowell Ratcliff of Rt. 1, Hillsboro; a sister, Mrs. Cecil Lang of Veedersburg; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fishero Funeral Home here with Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Interment will be in Rockfield Cemetery here. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home Friday from 7 o'clock until 9 o'clock. --typed by Walt W

VEEDERSBLRG — Funeral service for Mrs. Stella A. Lang, age 68, who died at noon Thursday, Sept. 16, at her home on Covington Rt. 3, were held at. 1 p.m. Saturday at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiated and burial was in Rockfield Cemetery, southeast of Veedersburg.
Mrs. Lang, who had been in ill health several years and seriously ill one week, was a native of Kansas. She was born Feb. 14, 1897, the daughter of John and Martha Hallowell Shoup. She was married to Clyde Lang Sept 30, 1916 and he preceded her in death in 1956. She had resided in Fountain County near Veedersburg 40 years and was a member oi the Baptist Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Lowell Ratcliff of Hillsboro Rt. 1; one sister, Mrs. Cecil Lang of Veedersburg; and two grandsons.
