Veedersburg (__ May 1943) – Frank Lang, 84, died at his residence here Wednesday at 5 p.m. after being ill with heart trouble for several weeks. Mr. Lang was born in this vicinity on August 30, 1858. His parents were Samuel and Sarah Stevens Lang. He had formerly worked at the brick factory here in Veedersburg. He married twice. His first wife was Eliza Taylor who is deceased. He later married Lizzie Brown, who survives. Other survivors are two sons, Norris, Springfield, Ohio and Edward of here; one daughter, Mrs. Julia Fletcher, here; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Herard, Danville, Ill; Mrs. Flora Harold of here; two brothers, Clyde of here and David of San Francisco. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home on College Street, Rev. Charles Howard was in charge. Burial was in the Masonic cemetery here. – kbz
