LANE, Shirley Armstrong - L-Obituaries

COVINGTON — Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Lane, age 55, of Danville, Ill., sister of Mrs. Margarette Holycross and Mrs. Kathleen Copsy, both of Covington, who died Tuesday afternoon, April 29, were held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Barrick & Son Funeral Home in Danville. Frank Binford officiated and burial was Monday at the Memorial Gardens in Denver. Mrs. Lane died in Lake View Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient three days. She was born Nov. 10, 1913 in Allerton, Ill., the daughter of George L. and Edith Carroll Armstrong. She was a member of the East Park Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband, four sons; four daughters; 12 grandchildren; five sisters, including Mrs. Holycross and Mrs. Copsy of Covington, and five brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers.  --waw
