LANE, Ruth C. - L-Obituaries

Mrs. Ruth C. Lane of Detroit, Michigan, formerly of Danville, Illinois, age 79, died Saturday afternoon, January 24, in Botsford Hospital at Farmington Hills, Michigan. She was born at Danville, October 9, 1901, the daughter of Harry Allen and Emma Luetta Vannatta Dennis. June 21, 1919, she married Merle Lane, who died in 1971.

  Survivors include a son, James D. of Detroit; three sisters, Leona Hummer of Danville, Illinois, Lou Maxey of Veedersburg, and Bernice Sears of Indianapolis; a brother, Charles Dennis of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Berhalter Funeral Home in Danville with Rev. Bruce Wotring officiating. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery at Danville  - thanks to S
