Lane, Kenneth - L-Obituaries

Kenneth Lane of New Richmond, age 49, died Saturday afternoon, May 1, at his home. He was born near Newtown, December 18, 1932, the son of Paul and LaVaughn McKinney Lane. August 29, 1951, he married Phyllis White, who survives. Lane was a member of Center Christian Church and New Richmond American Legion. A 1951 graduate of Wingate High School, he served with the Navy during the Korean conflict. He had been employed as an electrician at Koerner Electric Company in Lafayette and prior to that at R. R. Donnelley & Sons in Crawfordsville.

  Also surviving are a daughter, Vickie Sexton of Midland, Texas; a son, Brian, at home; two sisters, Marjory Waye of New Richmond and Fannybelle Addler of Crawfordsville; a brother, Eugene of Ladoga; and a grandson, Brad of Midland.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. George Boone officiating. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery north of Elmdale. – thanks to S
