ROSSVILLE — Mrs. Evelyn R. Conrad Lamkin, 58, a former employe of Purdue cafeteria in McCutcheon and Cary halls, died at 10:45 a.m. Monday in Home Hospital where she was admitted July 23. She had been in ill health one year. A native of Corydon, Mrs. Lamkin resided at Rt. 1, Rossville. Prior to moving to the Rossville area in 1954, she lived at West Point and was a graduate of West Point High School. In 1939 she was married at Attica to Wade M. Lamkin, who is a retired farmer. Mrs. Lamkin was a member of Rossville United Methodist Church. Surviving with the husband are a son, Wade E. Lamkin of Dallas, Tex.; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Conrad of Lafayette; and one brother, James V. Conrad of Lafayette. --waw
