Mrs. Laura Bell Lamb, 84, of Veedersburg Route 3, died Thursday, May 2, 1974 at her home. She had been ill about three months. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Maxine) Deasley and Mrs. Jack (Jean) Durham, both of Indianapolis and Mrs. Shirley A. Joiner of Tucson, Ariz; four sons, Robert L. at home, the Rev. Morris E. Lamb of Visalia, Calif., Paul W. Lamb of San Creek, Mich., and C. J. Lamb of Hoopston; two sisters, Mrs. Edith Hall of Indianapolis and Mrs. Dolla Van Steenberg of Orlando, Fla; a brother, Beryle Read of St. Petersburg, Fla.; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Services were held at the Maus Chapel with the Rev. Don Green officiating. Burial was in the Smith Cemetery near Boswell. -- Typed by Debby Masterson.

Veedersburg, Ind.—Mrs. Laura Bell Lamb, 84, of Veedersburg Route 3 died at 3:15 a.m. Thursday (May 2, 1974) at her home. She had been ill for about three months.
Born Nov. 25, 1889, in Nashville, Ind., she was the daughter of Wilson R. and Emmaline Noblitt Read. On March 22, 1916, in Fowler, she was married to George L. Lamb, who preceded her in death.
She had been a resident of Fountain County since 1941. She had attended the Nashville High and was a member of the Christian Church in Fowler.
