KINGMAN -- Hershel C. Lamb, 35, who was employed by General Motors at Tilton, Ill., died Wednesday morning at his home four miles south of Covington. A native of Attica, he was a son of Jesse and Vera Hutts Lamb and was born Aug. 16, 1931. He was married April 30, 1951, to June Lovall, who survives. Also surviving are five sons, Eddie, Jerry, Jesse, Hershel and Tony, all at home; five brothers, Sherman of Rt. 2 Kingman, Virgil of Rt. 2 Veedersburg, Johnny of Rt. 2 Covington, Jesse of Rt. 1 Tangier and Alonzo of Rt. 1 Covington; four sisters, Mrs. Eunice Haga of Rt. 4 Veedersburg, Mrs. Helen Eaton of Attica, Mrs. Carrie Craft of Rt. 5 Danville, Ill., and Mrs. Marvis Ronk of Ormond Beach, Fla., and the mother, of near Tangier. He was preceded in death by his father and a son. Mr. Lamb was a member of the Baptist Church. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Friday at Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman, where friends may call at 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Harry Hybarger will be the minister, and interment will be in Miller Cemetery. --typed by Walt W
