Floyd R. Lamb, 76, 209 High School Ave., Battle Ground, died at 5:20 a. m. Sunday, Aug 3, in Home Hospital, Lafayette. He had been in ill health the past five months. . . He was born in Battle Ground, April 10, 1910. He had spent all of his life there. On Aug. 13, 1930, he was married to Murdith H. Brummett, who survives. He was a welder at Peerless Wire Goods for 40 years, retiring in 1976. He was a member of Battle Ground United Methodist Church. Surviving, besides his wife, are two sons, David L. Lamb and Delmar R. Lamb, both of Lafayette; one daughter, Mrs. Barton (Caren Doreen)Youmans, Raleigh, N. C.; and a sister, Mrs. Florence Irvin, Veedersburg; five grandchildren. One sister and a brother preceded in deathFuneral services will be held at 1 p. m. today (Tuesday) in Hippensteel Funeral Home, Lafayette, with the Rev. David S. Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Battle Ground Cemetery. Those so desiring may contribute in memoriam to the cancer society.
