Hillsboro, Ind. (CNS)—Mrs. Dora A. Lake, 88, of Hillsboro, died at 8:15 p.m. yesterday (Oct. 7, 1967) at Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville. She had been ill a year. Born Oct. 15, 1878 in Clinton County, Ind., she was a daughter of James and Mary Jane Wilson Meadows. She was married Oct. 13, 1897 at Stockwell, Ind., to Jim W. Lake who preceded her in death on June 3, 1943. Survivors include a sister, Miss Nola Meadows of Hillsboro; a grandchild; and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lake was a resident of Fountain County for 60 years and had lived in Hillsboro five years. She lived in Tippecanoe County before moving to Fountain County. She was a member of the Hillsboro Methodist Church and its Woman's Society of Christian Service. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Crumley-Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Arthur Schenck officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday. --typed by Walt W

HILLSBORO — Mrs. Dora A. Lake, 88, of Hillsboro, died at 8:15 p.m. Saturday at Culver Hospital in Crawfordsville. She was a member of the Hillsboro Methodist Church and its WSCS. She moved to Hillsboro 60 years ago from Tippecanoe County. A Clinton County native, she was born Oct. 15, 1878, to James and Mary Jane (Wilson) Meadows. She married Jim W. Lake Oct. 13, 1897, in Stockwell. Surviving are a sister, Miss Nola Meadows; a grandchild and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1943, two sons, a brother and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home here with Rev. Arthur Schenck officiating. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
