Laird, Nellie Rynearson - L-Obituaries

Mrs. Nellie K. Laird of Crawfordsville, age 79, died Friday, June 27, in golden Rule Nursing Home at Danville. She was born at Hillsboro, August 13, 1900, the daughter of Charles and Mary Ellen Rynearson. In 1920, she married Harry Laird, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Laird was a member of the Crawfordsville First Christian Church, Firefighters Auxiliary, Euchre Club and SOS Club.

  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Mary Katherine Jones of Danville; a sister, Mrs. Margie Raisor of Brownsburg; and a granddaughter.

  Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Burkhart Funeral Home in Crawfordsville with Rev. Bill Hendricks officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. – S
