Mrs. Nancy Anne Kunkle, 81, died at 5:15 o'clock this morning at her home in Waynetown where she had moved only this week, after an illness of two days with heart trouble. Mrs. Kunkle a lifelong resident of Fountain and Montgomery Counties was born Dec 23, 1853 on a farm in Fountain County, 3 miles northwest of Waynetown. She was a daughter of Cyrus and Charlotte Osborn Fowler and was married 57 years ago to Adam Kunkle, who died Feb 4, 1930. Mr. Kunkle moved to Waynetown 18 years ago, living here until after the death of her husband and then went to live with her son, William Kunkle in the Snyder's Chapel neighborhood. She moved with the son from that community this week. Shew as a member of the Snyder's Chapel UB Church. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. May Grenard of Clark's Hill; three sons, Willia, Kunkle of Waynetown; Elmer of Watato, Wash and Fowler of near New Richmond; 27 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 brothers, George Fowler of Covington and Rev. Elmer Fowler of Freeport, Ill. Funeral services will be 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon at Waynetown Christian Church with burial in Masonic Cemetery here.
