Mrs. Minnie Kunkle, 75 of Veedersburg passed away at St. Ellizabeth Hospital in Danville at noon Saturday July 12 after being a patient there for two weeks. Mrs. Kunkle had been in failing health for the past year. A daughter of Clarence and Emma L. Morrison she was born March 20, 1880 at Grape Creek, Illinois. She was united in marriage to George Kunkle on October 6, 1908. He preceded her in death in December of 1957. She was a member of the Stone Bluff EUB Church. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Florence Chapell of Danville Ill and Mrs. Gertrude Richards of Georgetown, Ill. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Stone Bluff EUB Church with Rev. Harley Jones officiating. Burial was in the Osborne Prairie Cemetery with the Fishero Funeral Home in charge. – kbz
