VEEjDERSBURG — Mrs. Lillian Marie Kruger, age 71, suffered a fatal heart attack Friday evening, Sept. 9, while she was working in the kitchen of her home here at 727 Homestead St.
The fire department resuscitator squad and a physician were called but attempts to revive her were futile.
Mrs. Kruger was born April 28, 1894, at Huntingburg, the daughter of Emil and Carrie Brinkmeyer Heidrich. She was married Sept. 1, 1915 to Edward F. Kruger, who survives. She was a member of the Evangelistic Church at Huntingburg.
Survivors include: the husband and; three sons, Roy of Champaign, Ill., and Lyle and Ralph, both of Veedersburg; and one sister, Mrs. Loraine Krueger of Lehigh Acres, Fla.
Funeral services were held at 2 p. m. Sunday at the Sever Funeral Home here. The Rev. James Dyson officiated and burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery, south of Veedersburg.
