Veedersburg - Mrs. Nora May Krout, 68, died in her home here at 8 p.m. Wed. She had been ill with heart trouble for two months. She was born June 2, 1892 to Alonzo and Willetta Strader Stephens at Mellott. On Dec 23, 1911, she married Iva Krout of Veedersburg. She was a member of the North Christian Church at Mellott. For many years she assisted her husband in operating a grocery store which was attached to their home. Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Reca Trinkle and Mrs. Judy Bedson of Attica and Mrs. Betty Baldwin of Crawfordsville; four sons, Lyle of Bakersfield, Calif; Dale and Clarence of Covington and Keith of Veedersburg; 23 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Three sons and a daughter preceded her in death. Two sons, Kenneth and Gerald were killed in WWII and the third, Ernest was killed in the Korean War. The daughter, Margureite died in infancy. Friends may call at the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg after noon Friday. Funeral ser! vices will be held 2 p.m. CST Saturday in the First Christian Church with Rev. Ralph Sell officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.

Veedersburg
- Mrs. Nora Krout, 69, lifelong resident of Fountain County died in her home
here at 8 p.m. Wednesday. She had been seriouly ill two months Born at Mellott,
she was a member of North Christian Church of Mellott. She was married in 1911
to Ivan Krout of Veedersburg who survives with four sons: Lyle of Bakersfield,
Calif; Dale and Clarence of Covington and Keith of Veedersburg and four
daughters: Mrs. Reca Trinkle and Mrs. Mildred Booe of Veedersburg; Mrs. Judy
Dodson of Attica and Mrs. Betty Baldwin of Crawfordsville.
