KROUT, Lavena - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Miss. Lavena Krout of RR 1, Hillsboro, age 65, died Wednesday morning, August 5, in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville. She was born near Alamo, March 27, 1916, the daughter of Charles H. and Flossie Keller Krout. She attended Alamo High School and Danville Beauty College and worked as a beautician in Crawfordsville for 30 years.

  Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Ellen Taylor of Potomac, Illinois; three brothers, Charles of Potomac, Theron of Poland and Robert of Hillsboro; and an uncle, Clarence Krout of Montezuma.  Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown with Rev. Jack Swank officiating. Burial was in the Lutheran Cemetery at Wallace. – thanks to S
