Veedersburg -- Ivan A. Krout, 75-year-old resident of 505 N. Walnut street died of a heart attack at 12:30 a. m. Monday at his home. He was born in Hillsboro on Jan 16, 1891, a son of William and Margaret Ann Whitaker Krout. He was married to Nora Mae Stevens in 1911. She died in 1961. Also preceding him in death were four sons and a daughter. Mr. Krout was a retired grocer. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Mildred Booe and Mrs. Recca Trinkle, both of Veedersburg, Mrs. Julia Dodson of Attica and Mrs. Betty Baldwin of Williamsport; four sons, Lyle of Ashland, Ore; Dale and Clarence of Covington and Keith of Veedersburg; a brother Clarence of Montezuma; a sister, Mrs. Viola Hutchinson of Mellott; 35 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Fishero Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

Veedersburg – Funeral services for Ivan A. Krout, who died early Monday, will be at 2 pm Thursday at Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Rev. John Servies officiating. Burial will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may Call at the funeral home.

Mr. Krout was born m Hillsboro on Jan. 16, 1891, the son of William and Margaret Ann Whitaker Krout.  He was married in 1911 to Nora Mae Stevens, who preceded him in death in 1961.  He was a retired grocer.
